Town of Glastonbury Police Department
* Contacted the police on the routine phone number and made a complaint about electric bikes driving around town doing dangerous stunts. They said its legal and they won't do any enforcement to address the issue.
* Filling a cilivilion complaint with the police.
* emailed the town manager and received no response.
* I have photos and videos of the type of the behavior I see every day around town. Dangerous operation of the electric bikes.
* Filling a Freedom of Information request for the names of all police I had contacted concerning this issue.
* Getting legal advice if something happens and someone is seriously injured or killed by an electric bike.
* New law takes effect October 1st 2025 that will spell out what is legal and what is not. The police in Glastonbury are aware of the new law.
* I have given up on perusing anymore issues with the police due to there lack of action.
